My mom is an expert home cook and her intrests are especially towards making delicious sweets. We both love sweets and hence try different innovative sweets. This is one of my favorite sweet from my mom's kitchen which can be done instantly.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Red poha-1 cup
  2. Milk -1 cup
  3. Water-1/2 cup
  4. Sugar-3/4 cup
  5. Ghee-1/4 cup
  6. Cashews -8 to 10
  7. Cardamom powder-1/2 teaspoon
  8. Orange food colour -a pinch


  1. Grind poha in mixie into coarse powder
  2. In kadai add two tablespoons of ghee and fry the coarse poha for few minutes
  3. Add milk and water to it and cook it in low flame until it is cooked well
  4. Now add sugar to it and orange food colour and stir well.Add remaining ghee, cardamom powder and stir continuously until ghee leaves sides of pan
  5. Garnish with fried cashews
