Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onions chopped - 1 cup
  2. Poha (flattened rice) - 1 cup
  3. Green chillies - 3 to 4
  4. Chopped coriander - 1 bunch
  5. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  6. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  7. Chat Masala - 1 tsp
  8. Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  9. Maida - 1 cup
  10. Oil - 1 tbsp
  11. Salt - as per taste
  12. Maida - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add wheat flour, maida, 1 tbsp oil, salt and make it into a soft dough. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl add the chopped onion, poha, green chillies, coriander leaves, chilli powder, cumin powder, chat masala and salt and mix it very well until everything is well incorporated.
  3. In a bowl mix the 1 tablespoon maida with little water and keep aside.
  4. Take balls of dough and roll it into thin sheets.
  5. Take a pan and cook the sheets on both sides just for a few seconds and remove.
  6. Cut the sheets into triangular sheets..
  7. Apply the maida mixed with water along the edges and make a pocket.
  8. Fill the onion mixture and seal the edges.
  9. Deep fry the samosas until golden brown.
  10. Enjoy with a hot cup of coffee.
