This is a rice based dish, mainly served in hyderabad the city of nawabs

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati rice 2 cups
  2. Whole garam masala bay leaves2pc
  3. Cloves 4pc
  4. Green cardimon 3 pc
  5. Sinnemon 1 inch pc
  6. Vegeis mixed 250 gms like couliflower potato french beans n cartots n peas
  7. Curd 1 cup
  8. Cashewnuts 10 to 15
  9. Saffron few strings
  10. Kewra accense
  11. Salt acc to taste
  12. Chilli powdr half tbsp
  13. Haldi 1\4 tbsp
  14. Onion 2 big

Instructions

  1. soak rice for half an hour and par boil them with little salt.
  2. Heat a pan with oil, fry the sliced onions and the cashew nuts, keep aside, now in the same oil, add the veggies and saute. Now add all spices and curd, cook until they are tender enough.
  3. Now take a microwave proof big bowl, put a layer of rice , then a layer of cooked veggies and again rice, repeat it until all rice and veggies are used. Spread a layer of fried onion and cashew nuts on top.
  4. Pour the saffron milk and some kewra essence as well. cover this bowl and microwave it for 10 min serve with green chutney or curd.
