ABOUT onion rawa dosa RECIPE

A south Indian breakfast speciality . made with onions and semolina/rawa

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups rawa/semolina
  2. 2 cups rice flour
  3. half cup maida/apf
  4. 2-3 cups of onions finely chopped
  5. 3-4 greenchilli crushed or finely chopped
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2-3 glass of water

Instructions

  1. mix rawa-rice flour and maida
  2. add greenchilli
  3. add salt to taste
  4. Add water , mix into the batter. The batter should be thinner than kadhi
  5. now put dosa tawa on flame
  6. sprinkle some onions on it
  7. now sprinkle batter with help of your finger
  8. cover whole tawa like this with batter
  9. now in holes add some drop of ghee orbutter
  10. As it turns golden brown remove gently.
  11. onion rawa dosa is ready to be served with chutney
