ABOUT Paneer makhanwaala RECIPE

A punjabi style paneer recipe that goes well with roti or parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cottage cheese/paneer 400gm in cubes
  2. 1 tsp sugar
  3. Tomato 250gm
  4. Cashew nuts paste 1/4 cup
  5. Cream 1/2 cup
  6. Butter 1 tbsp
  7. Whole spices(green cardamom,bay leaf, cinnamon,mace)
  8. Chilly powder
  9. Salt
  10. Kasoori methi
  11. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp each

Instructions

  1. Blanch cashews and make paste
  2. Take a pan add oil then tomatoes whole spices ,except bay leaf , chilly powder
  3. Add little salt when tomatoes are mushy switch off fame and allow it to cool
  4. Blend it in mixie
  5. Now take another pan add butter bay leaf , ginger garlic paste,,cashew nut paste,tomato paste boil till desired consistency
  6. Add salt ,sugar paneer cubes add cream
  7. Switch off flame
  8. For garnish spread cream and sprinkle coriander leaves and kasoori methi
