ABOUT Onion cheese kofta curry RECIPE

It is my own innovation . Onion cheese soft balls are deep fried added into cashew nut onion tomato tangy gravy .it's mouthwatering super tasty onion recipe.Try it once you will become fan of it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. A.For onion kofta
  2. 1 big onion chopped
  3. 100 gm fresh paneer
  4. 1 boil potato
  5. 2 tbsp corn flour
  6. Oil for frying
  7. B. for gravy
  8. 1 onion sliced
  9. 4 big tomato roughly chopped
  10. 1 inch ginger chopped
  11. 1 green chilli chopped
  12. 12 pieces cashew nut
  13. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  14. 4 spoon curd
  15. 1/2 glass milk
  16. 1 bey leaf
  17. 2 cardamom
  18. 1/2 tspn Kashmiri mirch powder
  19. 1/2 tspn black salt
  20. 1/2 tspn Turmeric
  21. 1/2 tspn red chili powder
  22. 1 1/2 tspn dry coriander powder
  23. 1/2 tspn Garam Masala
  24. 1/2 tspn Sugar
  25. 1 tspn salt ( or according to taste)
  26. 1 tspn kesoori methi
  27. 1 tbspn oil
  28. Greated panner for garnishing

Instructions

  1. First we make gravy.
  2. Take a pan add 2 spoon oil in it add sliced onion & chopped green chilii.
  3. Fry it till it becomes golden in color.
  4. Now add chopped tomatoes and ginger.
  5. Add cashew nuts.
  6. Let it simmer for 5 min .
  7. Once the tomatoes and onions get cooked and mushy, let them cool down.
  8. Now pour it in a blender and make a smooth paste.
  9. Now heat 1 tbspn oil in a wolk on medium heat.
  10. Once hot add bay leaf and cardamom fry for 20 seconds.
  11. Now add prepared puree in it.
  12. Cook for 2 min then add red chilli powder , black salt ,Kashmiri mirch powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder and salt .
  13. Mix it well and cook for 2 min on medium flame.
  14. Now add curd & mix it well.
  15. Add fresh cream and 1/2 tspn sugar mix it well and cook for 2 minutes .
  16. Now add milk and simmer on low medium flame for 5 minutes.
  17. Then add crushed kasoori methi .
  18. Mix well turn off the gas stove .Gravy is ready .
  19. Now we will make onion kofta.
  20. Take boiled & mashed potato .
  21. Add grated paneer & corn flour.
  22. Add fine chopped onion .
  23. Mix it well .Knead into a dough.
  24. Now divide the mixture into 12 equal portion.
  25. Make smooth ball of it.
  26. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat for deep frying.
  27. Once oil is hot add some koftas gently into the hot oil.
  28. Keep moving them so it gets even browning from all the sides.
  29. Once brown all the sides remove it using the slotted spatula.
  30. Now at the time of serving. Reheat the gravy.
  31. When serving to guest remove the gravy in to a serving wolk or bowl .
  32. Then add onion kofta into the bowl, garnish with grated paneer & serve.
  33. Serve with lachcha parantha or butter nan.
