ABOUT Barfi Wali Kheer RECIPE

As the name suggests, it's a lipsmacking dessert made from the leftover barfi. Infact it can be made with kaju katli or any mithai with milk for that matter. Instant and yummy dessert that can be whipped up very quickly because of the use of mithai in it. It thickens up very fast and cooking time is therefore considerably reduced too. Use of sugar also is minimised in this. Overall a much healthy version of kheer will be at your disposal to enjoy with family and friends.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Milk 1 litre
  2. Sugar 4-5 tablespoon
  3. Barfi broken into small pieces 2 cups
  4. Almonds slivered 3 tablespoon


  1. Boil milk and simmer on medium flame.
  2. Keep stirring in between until it reduces to 3/4 th of it's original quantity.
  3. This takes about 30 minutes.
  4. Now add the barfi pieces and the sugar.
  5. Mix well and simmer for some more time until it starts thickening.
  6. Garnish with nuts of your choice.
  7. Serve it chilled.
