ABOUT Khajoor ki Kheer RECIPE

Very healthy, rich in iron and calcium, delicious date's kheer.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Tender /Fresh dates
  2. Milk 1/2 litre
  3. Sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Saffron strands 1/4 th teaspoon
  5. Chopped dry fruits 1 tablespoon
  6. Ghee 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take fresh dates and wash them.
  2. Remove it's seeds and chop them finely.
  3. Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a pan and saute chopped dates till soft.
  4. Add milk, chopped dry fruits and saffron strands to it and cook till it becomes thick.
  5. Add sugar and cook some more time till sugar dissolves completely.
  6. Delicious healthy kheer is ready. Serve hot or cold. It tastes equally delicious.
