ABOUT Makke ki Masala Bati with Gogura Chutney RECIPE

Corn is nutritious. This is the famous Rajsthani dish, specially made in winter. Serve the baatis with sarso ka saag, katti meethi dal and pulav.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Corn flour 500 grams
  2. Hot water needed to make dough
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  4. Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 bowl
  5. Red chili powder 1 or 2 tablespoon
  6. Cumin powder 1 tablespoon
  7. Ajwain 1 tablespoon
  8. Salt 2 tablespoon or as required
  9. Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Add all spices as mentioned in yellow corn flour.
  2. Make dough with the help of hot water.
  3. Prepare bati like shape.
  4. Keep steaming.( We can also steamed in idli maker but keep alternate plate like plate 1 then 3 so that bati will not stick.)
  5. After 10 minutes bafla is prepared.
  6. Now put these bafla in electric preheated oven at 400 dergrees farenhite. After 10 to 15 minutes it is prepared.
  7. Now prepare sarson saag or gogura chutney.(Sorrel)
  8. For chutney - heat oil, crackle all masala, chana dal and add the leaves.
  9. Blend these.
  10. The main Rajasthani dish is now ready to serve.
