Delicious all time favourite suji ka halwa.This is my mom's recipe for perfect Satyanarayan Sheera which is specially prepared for bhog/Prasad.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina/suji 1 cup
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Ghee 1 cup
  4. Warm milk 3 cups
  5. Saffron strands few
  6. Cardamom powder 1/4th teaspoon
  7. Mix chopped dry fruits 1 tablespoon
  8. Tulsi leaves 8 to 10


  1. Ingredients required ,saffron strands soaked milk,suagr,ghee,dry fruits,cardom,Suji,amd few tulsi leaves
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and roast suji till golden in colour and nice aroma starts coming
  3. Warm saffron soaked milk ,cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits to suji .Mix well and cook covered for 5 minutes ,check in between.
  4. Add sugar ,mix well and cook covered again for 5 minutes
  5. Open the lid and cook uncovered for some time.Turn in between
  6. Add few tulsi leaves
  7. Delicious sheera is ready
