Ingredients to make Chingudi Besara

  • Prawn 250 gms
  • White mustard paste - 1 tsp
  • Black mustard paste - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • onion chopped - 1 medium
  • cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Green Chili chopped - 2
  • tomato Chopped - 1 big
  • Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Chingudi Besara

  1. Clean and devein the prawns and put turmeric and salt to it. Mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the prawn on medium flame. Remove and keep aside. In the same oil, add onion and fry until brown.
  2. Add ginger, garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato, chopped and saute till done. Add cumin powder and green chilies to it. Saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add both mustard paste to one cup water and add this water to the pan. Cook until it reaches a boiling point, add fried prawns and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Enjoy with steamed rice.
