ABOUT Potato roti RECIPE

Potato roti is a thin roti that is filled with potato which can be eaten alone, or with any curry.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 cups of All purpose flour ( Maida )
  2. 3 boiled patatos
  3. Clarified butter ( ghee )
  4. 1 tea spoon baking powder
  5. 1 tbsp refined oil
  6. Coriander leaves (chopped)
  7. 1 tea spoon cumin powder
  8. 1 tea spoon black pepper powder
  9. Salt ( according to taste )

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add boiled potatoes. Chop them and mash properly.
  2. Now add all purpose flour , baking powder , salt , black pepper , cumin powder , coriander leaves , refined oil . Mix properly and knead it. Keep the dough covered for 1/2 an hour.
  3. Divide the dough and make roties with the help of rolling pin.
  4. Heat a pan on high flame .
  5. Spread clarified butter on pan and cook your roties properly from both sides.
