ABOUT Aam ki phirni RECIPE

Phirni with mango puree for that extra flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 Alphonso mango puree
  2. 4 table spoon Rice flour
  3. 1/2 cup Sugar
  4. Some cardamom powder
  5. For garnishing
  6. Pistachios
  7. ALMOND
  8. RAISINS
  9. Mango cubes

Instructions

  1. Take a thick bottom pan and boil milk in it.
  2. Simultaneously, take rice flour in a small bowl and add water or milk to it. Mix rice flour and milk together to form a smooth paste.
  3. Ensure that no lumps are formed. Then add the rice flour paste to the boiling milk.  
  4. Reduce the flame to low and keep stirring the mixture continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  5. After the mixture is thickened,add some cardamom powder. add the Sugar and mix it. At this stage, check the sweetness and if required add some more Condensed milk or Sugar.
  6. Stir it for a minute or two, then add Almond flakes . Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.  Transfer it into refrigerator for an hour. 
  7. After cooling, add the fresh Alphonso Mango pulp to the Phirni. Mix the mango pulp into the Phirni and it is ready to serve.
  8. Serving: Take a bowl fresh Alphonso Mango cubes at the upper layer of phirni. Then pour the Mango Phirni into it. Garnish it with Almond flakes and pistachios. Serve Chilled.
