This recipe is cheesy makeover of leftover rice....Very easy to cook...Crunchy outside and soft inside

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Boiled mashed potatoes -4-5
  2. Leftover Rice -1 cup
  3. Chopped coriander leaves
  4. Crushed mint leaves
  5. Chilli flakes or chopped green chillies
  6. salt as per taste
  7. Chaat masala - 1-2 tbs
  8. Cumin powder -1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  10. Garam Masala -1 tsp or 1/2 tsp
  11. Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  12. Chopped onion -1/4 cup
  13. Chopped capsicum -1/8cup
  14. Chopped carrot -1/4 cup
  15. Chopped French bean -1/4 cup
  16. Processed cheese - 1/2 cup
  17. Corn flour - 1/4 cup
  18. Plain flour - 1 tbs
  19. Bread crumbs
  20. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 /2 tsp
  21. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. First of all take hot oil in a pan and add Chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste...saute
  2. Now add veggies and potatoes and mix well then now add spices ( chaat masala, Turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, green chillies, Cumin powder, Garam Masala, Salt) and mix properly for 5-7 minutes on medium flame....Now add green Coriander leaves and Mint leaves then switch off the gas and let it cool.....
  3. Now add processed cheese and some salt again if you want
  4. Now take another bowl and add potatoes, leftover rice, Corn flour, Salt, chaat masala and mix properly....make a soft dough
  5. Now take a small part of dough and make flat tikkies and stuff the filling in this tikki
  6. Now make a slurry of plain flour, Corn flour, Salt and Dipped tikkies into the slurry and then wrapped in bread crumbs
  7. Now deep fry in hot oil on Medium flame...... Serve with tomato sauce or any other dip
