ABOUT Chicken tuna lasagne RECIPE

Lasagne is originated in Italy during the middle ages and has traditionally been ascribed to the city of Naples(Campania).Its a tasty delicious cheesy oven-baked dish.Its made with flat pasta sheet,meat or fish or mushroom or any vagetables,and different type of cheese.Today I have used both chicken and tuna.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Uncooked lasagne pasta sheet-8 pieces
  2. Chicken mince-250 gram
  3. Canned Tuna fish-1 tin(185 gram)
  4. Cream Cheese-150 gram
  5. Grated Cheddar Cheese-225 gram
  6. Mozzarella cheese-125 gram
  7. Tomato puree-1 cup
  8. Tomato chopped-4 large tomato
  9. Onion Chopped-1 large onion
  10. Crushed garlic-3 tablespoon
  11. Chilli flakes-2 tablespoon
  12. Dry Oregano-2 tablespoon
  13. Olive oil-2 tablespoon
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Sugar-2 teaspoon
  16. Butter to grease


  1. Boil the pasta sheet in salt water until its become cooked.
  2. Strain it and shift it to cold water so that cooking will ne stopped as well as extra starch will be washed out.Now one doesn't stick to another.
  3. Take olive oil in a pan in medium heat.Add garlic and onion.Saute it for few minutes until it become translucent.
  4. Then add chopped tomato and chicken mince in it.Season with salt and chilli flakes. Stir it well.
  5. Cover it for few minutes until chicken become tender.
  6. Now add tomato puree,canned tuna fish,dry oregano-1 tablespoon and sugar.Mix everything. Again cover it for few minutes.
  7. When its done,switch off the flame.Now your chicken tuna red sauce is ready.
  8. Now take a baking dish where you can bake lasagne. Grease it with butter.
  9. Place the one pasta sheet layer in it.Spread cream cheese over it.Pour chicken tuna red sauce on it.Finish the layering with grated Cheddar cheese.
  10. Repeat this 3 times.Finish it covering with sliced mozzarella cheese from top.Sprinkle left over dry oregano on it.
  11. Bake it for 30-40 minutes at 180°C in a preheated oven.
  12. After that give it 10-15 minutes Standing time.
  13. Cut it and serve it hot.Enjoy it with some fresh salad.
