Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 packet 50_50 biscuit
  2. For batter:
  3. Besan half cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Turmuric pwdr half tsp
  6. Redchilli pwdr half tsp
  7. Lime juice 1 spoon
  8. Baking powder half spoon
  9. For Filling:
  10. Boiled mash potato 2
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Turmuric pwdr 1tsp
  13. Redchilli pwdr 1 tsp
  14. Garam Masala pwdr half tsp
  15. Sambar Masala pwdr 1tsp
  16. Chopped green chilli 4
  17. chopped onion 2
  18. Chopped tomato 1
  19. Some chopped coriander leaves
  20. cumin seeds half tsp
  21. rai half tsp
  22. Oil 2 tsp
  23. For tempering
  24. Oil 1 tbsp
  25. rai half tsp
  26. Greenchilly slit 6
  27. Till half tsp

Instructions

  1. First make dhokla filling,
  2. Heat a kadhai on ,medium flame..then add oil temper with cumin seed and rai [mustard seeds].
  3. After that add chopped onion and saute for few mins then add chopped green chilli and tomato and fry till the tomatoes is getting soft,
  4. After that add all spices...masala and mix it well , then add mash boil potato and salt mix it properly Cook for 3 to 4 mins lastly add chopped coriander leaves... now filling is ready.
  5. Prepare batter:
  6. For making batter take bowl and add all ingredients in mixing bowl,
  7. Add some water and make a smooth batter...rest for 2 to 3 mins...
  8. Now heat a steamer....
  9. Then take a biscuit, add some potato Masala on it..now take one more biscuit for cover the Masala.. .
  10. Now deep in to the batter properly and cover all side of biscuit Masala,
  11. In a hot steamer place the batter cover stuffed Masala biscuit and steam for 10 mins...
  12. After 10 mins take out dhokla's in steamer...
  13. Now make a tempering
  14. Take a tadka pan add some oil , rai and slit greenchilly make a tempering
  15. Pour the tempering on dhokla's
  16. Arrange all the dhokla 's in a plate and serve with chatni...
