Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1/2 cup rice soaked
  2. 1/2cup Sugar
  3. Full cream milk 1 ltr
  4. Condensed milk 1 cup
  5. Almonds chopped 2tbsp
  6. Cashews soaked and pureed 1 cup
  7. Almonds soaked,peeled n pureed 1 cup
  8. Rose extract 2tbsp
  9. Vanilla essence 2tbsp
  10. Saffron strands 15-20


  1. Grind the soaked rice into a smooth paste.
  2. Start boiling the milk and add sugar after a single boil.
  3. Keep boiling the milk for more 5 minutes on simmer heat.
  4. Add rice paste gradually into milk and keep stirring for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cashew and almonds paste one by one into this mixture n keep boiling and keep stirring for more five minutes.
  6. Finally add condensed milk and put the pan off the heat.
  7. Let it be cooled to normal temperature.
  8. Till your firni cools soak saffron strands into rose extract.
  9. Pour the Firni into the serving dish , garnish with chopped almonds and pour the rose saffron water over the dish.
  10. Let it set into refrigerator for 2 hours.
