Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 300gm mutton pieces
  2. 2 green chillies sliced
  3. 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  4. 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  6. 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
  7. 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  8. 2 tablespoons curd
  9. 1/4 teaspoon honey
  10. 2 cups Milk
  11. 1 tablespoon fresh cream
  12. 50gm khoya
  13. 1 tablespoon butter
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Onion paste(optional)
  16. Red chilli powder(optional)
  17. Garam masala powder(optional)
  18. Cashew nuts and raisins(for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Boil the mutton.
  2. Take a bowl to make a paste with khoya, ginger, gerlic paste, green chillies, salt, curd.
  3. Marinate the mutton with this paste and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Take a pan and heat it, melt butter.
  5. Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds and fry until it crack.
  6. Add marinated mutton and saute for sometime.
  7. Add honey, milk and 4 cups of water.
  8. Add cardamom powder, salt and khoya (if needed). Mix a little cream.
  9. Boil to 2-3 minutes until it is thick.
  10. Garnish with cashew nuts or raisins and serve it hot.
