Ingredients to make Gravy wale punjabi chhole

  • Chick pea (white Chhole), 250 GM (boiled) with 1 tsp salt, and oil
  • For tadka : 4-5 onions , 10 garlic cloves; 1 inch ginger, 4-5 tomatoes (cut into chunks) grind it well
  • Dry spices : 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp carrom seeds, hing - 1/2 tsp, salt to taste, 2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder (degi Mirch); 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp kasoori methi powder
  • oil as per your requirement

How to make Gravy wale punjabi chhole

  1. Add oil in kadhai, heat it well put hing, cumin seeds and carrom seeds. Saute for while
  2. Put grind masala, dry masala one by one and saute until oil leaves side on high heat.
  3. Now add this masala into boiled Channa and wait for 5-6 whistle.
  4. Turn gas off and wait for release steam . Garnish with coriander leaves and Black pepper powder.

My Tip:

For best result, we should have to soaked channe overnight or atkeast 2 hours.
