We all know hummus as a faomous lebanese recipe .....sharing with you all a fusion of indian ingredient in the lebanese recipe....pumpkin hummus.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 bowl boiled chickpeas.
  2. 2/3 cup pumpkin puree.
  3. 3 tbsp olive oil.
  4. 5 roasted garlic cloves.
  5. 1 tsp coriander powder.
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds powder.
  7. 1 tsp chilli powder.
  8. 1/2 tbsp lemon juice.
  9. 2 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Water if required.


  1. In a blender add all the ingredients except 1 tbsp olive oil and churn till a coarse mixture is ready.
  2. Make sure that the dip should not be very thick nor very loose in consistency.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl.
  4. Pour the remaining olive oil over the pumpkin hummus while serving.
  5. This can be served with a variety of options like falafel , naan, pita bread , crackers.. Enjoy.....!!!
