ABOUT Stuffed Kadai Paneer RECIPE

Delicious and spicy kadhai paneer that can be served with rotis and paranthas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer triangle shapes - 1 cup
  2. Cheese for filling - 1/4 cup
  3. Grated carrot 1 tsp
  4. Black pepper a pinch
  5. Green chilli ½ tsp
  6. Sesame Seeds 1 tsp
  7. Black salt - 1/2 tsp
  8. Tomatoes large – 3
  9. Tomato Sauce- 3-4 tsp
  10. Cream - 2 tsp
  11. Capsicum (Bell pepper) big – 1
  12. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  13. Whole coriander seeds – 2 tsp
  14. Whole dry red chilies – 2
  15. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  16. Turmeric powder – 1/8 tsp
  17. Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
  18. Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) – 2 tsp
  19. Salt – to taste
  20. Oil – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the paneer into triangular shapes and then cut it in half.
  2. Chop the capsicum into big cubes and keep it ready.
  3. Chop tomatoes and keep it ready. Heat a pan with oil. Add one pinch hing, kalonji and jeera. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 mins.
  4. Add capsicum, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, 1/4 cup water and mix well. Close the pan with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. By now the capsicum would have softened and the raw smell of the chili powder would be gone. Add malai and sauce.
  6. Add the paneer, coriander leaves and ground spice powder. Mix well. Add 1/4 cup water, if the curry is thick. Close the pan with a lid.
  7. Let cook for 5-7 minutes over a low flame. Switch off flame and add the crushed methi leaves.
  8. Mix well and keep covered with lid till serving. Kadai Paneer is ready.
