This is one of the most simplest and delicious chicken recipe, which can be served with some roti or some steamed rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4
Chicken 1 kg
Onion 2-3 small sized
Ginger 2 inch
Garlic cloves 10-12
Curd 1 whole cup to marinate
Chicken masala 1 small Spoon
Garam masala 1/2 small Spoon
Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 small Spoon
Dhaniya [coriander] powder 1/2 small Spoon
Haldi [turmeric] powder 1/2 small Spoon
Salt to taste or 2. 1/2 small Spoon
Sarso ka oil [mustard oil]1. 1/2 tablespoon
Dried spices long(cloves), badi and choti ilaichi [black and green cardamom] (2-3), 1 inch dalchini [cinnamon], bay leaves.
Water 1 full cup.
Instructions
Wash the chicken pieces with fresh water 2 times.
Now take a bowl pour curd or yogurt into it, wisk it so that there should be no lumps.
Now put all the chicken pieces into that yogurt and marinate it well., keep it aside.
Now take a jar, put pieces of onions, pealed ginger and garlic cloves into that jar and blend to form a mixture.
Take a kadhai put sarso oil into it in a medium flame u can add a pinch of salt so it will irritate your eyes.
When the oil is done put dried Spices such as long( cloves), tez patta(bay leaves), dalchini(cinnamon sticks), choti badi cardamom( ilaechi) into it.
After all done pour the mixture which you blended into the jar.
When you see the oil is heated and came up then add salt, red chilli powder, haldi powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala.
When it's done add the marinated chicken with yoghurt into it. Cover the lid for 5 min and let the oil to come up.
After 5 min open the lid now add 1 Spoon chicken masala powder , cover the lid for a sec. Then add 1 cup of water to have a liquid gravy.cover the lid again and let it cook for another 20-30 mins.
You will have to check it in the meanwhile to check weather the chicken is ready or not.
When you see the chicken become tender you will see the whole oil comes up.
Garnish your dish with coriander leaves. Your dish is now ready to serve.
