Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Red pumpkin 1/2kg
  2. Milk 100 ml
  3. Mawa/khoya 200 gm
  4. Sugar 200 gm
  5. Ready made khoya barfi 3-4pieces
  6. Dry Coconut powder 1 tbsp
  7. Ghee 2 Tbsp
  8. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Chopped mixed dry fruits (cashews, almonds etc) 2 tbsp
  10. Orange food colour 2 drops(optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the pumpkin and shrade it.
  2. Take a kadhai and add the pumpkin and milk in it
  3. Cover and Cook it on medium flame
  4. Add sugar when pumpkin cook up.Stir it well.
  5. Now cook it on low flame for few minutes
  6. When mixture starts drying add khoya,food colour and ghee and mix it well up to 5 minutes on high flame
  7. Add cardamom powder and chopped dryfruits and off the flame.
  8. Now put halwa into cake tin and keep it in freez for 20 minutes
  9. After 2o minutes take it out from the tin and decorate it with dry coconut powder and readymade khoya barfi in your own way.
