Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Besan or chickpea flourb 250 grams
  2. Capsicum Diced 1 cup
  3. Tomatoes diced 1 cup
  4. Onions diced 1 cup
  5. Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  6. Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  7. Green chillies chopped 1 tbsp
  8. GARAM MASALA 1 TBSP
  9. Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  10. Asafoetida 2 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Water 1 glass
  13. Mustard or olive oil 1 tbsp +1 tbsp for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. First of all get all ingredients ready
  2. Add water to the Besan n spices mix to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
  3. Heat up the oil and fry onions till they turn pink .
  4. Add tomatoes and capsicum to it .
  5. Fry a little more to get a flavorful aroma.
  6. Pour the batter and stir well to avoid it sticking from bottom.
  7. After cooking for 6-8 minutes pour the semi thick batter in an already greased cake tin.
  8. Let the batter out of cake tin and sit for 10 minutes .
  9. Cut into pieces and shallow fry them.
  10. Serve hot with tea or as a starter of dinner party
