Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm beans
  2. 1 Onion
  3. 2 tea spoon cooking oil
  4. 1/2 tea spoon urdu
  5. 1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
  6. A big pinch of turmeric powder
  7. 1 red chilly
  8. 5-6 Curry Leaves
  9. Salt 1/2 tea spoon
  10. 1/4 cup grated coconut
  11. 1 tea spoon sprig Malacca powder

Instructions

  1. Buy tender beans. Take out the ends and strings.
  2. Wash and chop them into small pieces.
  3. Take a onion remove the peal and chop into small pieces.
  4. Take oil in frying pan and heat it. Add in mustard seeds.
  5. When mustard seeds splutter, add Urdu and let it be till golden brown.
  6. Now add chilly.
  7. Now add turmeric powder and Curry leaves.
  8. Add in chopped onion.
  9. Stir well for half a minute.
  10. Add in Malacca powder and mix well.
  11. Add in beans and stir well.
  12. Add water 1 cup and salt.
  13. Stir well and close the lid. Cook under medium flame.
  14. Cook until beans are soft yet crunchy. Now add in grated coconut and mix well.
  15. Switch off the stove and serve it with hot rice or chapathi.
