ABOUT Caramel Sago Pudding RECIPE

This is the perfect Pudding for fasting. Cinnamon enhances the flavour of Pudding. Crunchy Caramel and creamy Pudding tastes delicious. This dessert will add beauty to your meal and you will relish it definitely.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup Sago / sabudana
  2. 4 cup water
  3. 1 cinnamon stick
  4. 3 Cups Milk
  5. 1.5 cup Condensed Milk
  6. sugar
  7. cinnamon Powder to sprinkle


  1. Heat a saucepan on Gas and add water and Sago into it
  2. Add one Cinnamon Stick
  3. Once Sago is tender add milk
  4. Let milk boil for 5 minutes
  5. Now stir it and add condensed milk
  6. Add sugar but you might want to taste before adding because condensed milk makes the mixture sweet
  7. Return the flame to a slight simmer for 10-15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed or it has turn to a Pudding like consistency
  8. Let it cool down and refrigerate it for 10 minutes
  9. Take another pan and heat 1/2 cup sugar , 1/8 cup water
  10. let it boil till brown color came and switch off the flame else sugar will burn
  11. Quickly put the pan on cold water in another pan so that the heating will stop
  12. Caramelized Sugar is ready
  13. Pour the caramelized sugar on top of the pudding
  14. Sprinkle some Cinnamon Powder
  15. Your Crunchy and Creamy Pudding is ready to eat
