ABOUT Pan Roasted Pork Chop RECIPE

A scrumptious pan slow roasted pan chops with Sprig's Genoa Spice Blend rub. Easy and delicious appetizer or can be served as a side dish. Great for parties and special occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pork Chops - 300 gms approx
  2. Sprig's Genoa Spice Blend - 2 tsp
  3. Vinegar - 1 tbsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  5. Chilly flakes for seaaoning
  6. Cracked peppercorns for seasoning
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Dried rosemary - ¼ tsp
  9. Dried thyme - ¼ tsp
  10. Oil few drops for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add the pork chops, vinegar, ginger garlic paste and season with salt, pepper and chilly flakes. Add the Sprig's Genoa Spice Blend mix.
  2. Mix well and rub the pork chops with the seasoning and the spice blend. Marinate for atleast 1 hour. You can keep it for longer hours, the better.
  3. Grease the pan with oil and lay the pork chop and roast on low flame for 3-5 mins.
  4. Flip over and again roast in low heat for 3-5 mins.
  5. Add the rosemary and thyme herbs, cover the pan and roast over low heat.
  6. Flip over occasionally for even roasting.
  7. Roast over low heat till the meat is tender and roasted perfectly. Cooking time will differ upon the tenderness and thickness of your meat. Mine took approximately 1 hour.
  8. I served it with butter tossed french beans and homemade french fries.
