Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup quinoa flour
  2. 2 tbsp semolina
  3. 1/2 cup chickpeas flour
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. Pinch of turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 glass buttermilk
  7. To temper dhokli:
  8. 1 tbsp oil
  9. 1 tsp mustered seeds
  10. Pinch of asafoetida
  11. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  14. 1 glass buttermilk
  15. 1 tbsp chickpeas flour
  16. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. How to make dhokli:
  2. First in a medium sized bowl add and mix all the ingredients and gradually add buttermilk and mix it well.
  3. Now in a hot steamer, steam it in a greased plate for 7-8 mins.
  4. Once cooked, remove it from heat and allow it to be cooled down.
  5. Now cut it into desired shape of your choice and keep it aside.
  6. How to temper dhokli:
  7. In a medium sized pan, put oil, one is hot add mustered seeds.
  8. Once mustered seeds spluttered, add all dry masala and buttermilk.
  9. Now add chickpeas flour and mix it well.
  10. Add dhokli we prepared earlier and mix it well.
  11. Put the lid on top, and cook for 8-10 mins.
  12. It's ready to serve, serve it hot with roti or bhakhri or any other Indian bread if your choice!
