ABOUT Guldana RECIPE

This is a very tasty and delicious dessert .which is made water chestnut flour .

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Water chestnut flour 1 cup
  2. Mawa (khoya) 1 cup
  3. Milk 1 tbsp
  4. Sugar 2 cup
  5. Pure ghee for frying
  6. For flower
  7. Mawa 1/2 cup
  8. Powder sugar 1/4 cup or to taste

Instructions

  1. First we will make sugar syrup . For this take a pan put sugar in it add 3/4 water and cook it .
  2. Make 2 string sugar syrup . And keep aside to cool .
  3. Shift the 1 cup mawa and water chestnut flour in a mixing bowl . Mix them well add 1 tbsp milk and make very soft dough . Adjust the quantity of milk to making dough soften
  4. Now form dough make 1cm diameter 's small balls .
  5. Now take a wok put pure ghee in it and heat it
  6. In hot ghee fry the balls on medium slow flame .
  7. When the colour of the balls become brown remove from ghee and put them immediate in sugar syrup for half an hour . Guldana is ready .
  8. For making flower mix sugar powder in 1/2 cup mawa. now divide it into 6-7 part .and make balls from it .
  9. From two balls give the shape of leaves .
  10. From other balls make small poori pressing on palm . arrange these poori like picture and roll them . Cut it in two parts .and get two flowers .
  11. Now serve Guldana and garnish with Mawa rose .
