Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2/3 cup Sooji
  2. 1 Apple cubed
  3. 1tsp Cinnamon
  4. 2/3 cup sugar
  5. 21/4 cup water
  6. 6-7 cashews
  7. 4tbsp ghee
  8. 8-10 saffron strands

Instructions

  1. Boil water and add Apple with Cinnamon..Let it cook until Apple is soft
  2. Seperately Fry cashews in 2tbsp ghee in a wide pan. Keep it aside
  3. In same pan roast sooji until aroma comes.Cook on low to medium flame
  4. Add boiling Apple mix water in sooji and let sooji cook
  5. Add sugar , kesar and remaining ghee and mix well.
  6. Add nuts and mix well
  7. Serve warm or cold as desired. Best served warm
