Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Semolina 1/2 cup
  2. Milk powder 1/4 cup
  3. Sugar 3/4 cup
  4. Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Ghee 1/4 cup
  6. Maida 1 cup
  7. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  8. A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry semolina for 5 minutes
  2. Add milk powder and fry for 2 minutes
  3. Add cardamom powder and let it cool
  4. Add powdered sugar. Filling is ready.
  5. Mix Maida with 1 tablespoon ghee and salt and knead it well with water
  6. Keep it aside for 10 minutes
  7. Roll small and thin puris
  8. Place the filling in the middle and close it
  9. To seal the sides of the press with fork
  10. Deep fry it and let cool.
  11. Serve hot with ketchup or any chutney.
