This bhujiya is easy to make, using very few ingredients and tastes yum.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. potato 2 medium sized
  2. Gram flour(Besan) 1 cup
  3. Chat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. salt to taste
  7. oil for frying


  1. First of all boil potatoes and let them cool at room tempareture. grate these boiled potatoes add chat masala, salt , chilly powder and besan.
  2. Mix it well and knead a soft dough without using a drop of water (if required add little more besan)
  3. Grease sev maker from in side with oil . fill it with dough and close it.
  4. Heat oil in a wide wok. Press sev maker and carefully make sev directly in hot oil with circular motion .
  5. Keep the heat low to medium . Fry sev from both sides till golden and crisp .
  6. Transfer it to kitchen napkin . It will absorb excess oil from bhujiya. This way make make bhujiya with all the dough.
  7. Let bhujiya cool completely. Carefully press it a little . Store it in an airtight container. Enjoy whenever you want.
