Ingredients to make Banana walnut and dates cake

  • all purpose flour (Maida) 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar 3/4 th cup
  • banana mash 2
  • butter 2 tablespoon
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  • oil 2 teaspoon
  • Dares chopped in small pieces and coated with flour 6
  • eggs 3
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • walnut chopped in small pieces 2 tablespoon

How to make Banana walnut and dates cake

  1. In a bowl first beat sugar,oil and butter
  2. To this add mashed banana
  3. Then add vanilla essence
  4. Beat egg one by one in sugar butter mixture
  5. Sieve flour and baking powder
  6. Add flour and baking powder mixture to wet mixture in steps and lightly fold it.
  7. Then add flour coated dates and half walnut to the batter.
  8. Grease a loaf tin .pour batter in loaf tin. Sprinkle walnut on top.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 40 mins or till skewer comes out clean.
  10. Cool it and slice

My Tip:

Coat chopped dates with flour so that it doesn't sink at the bottom of the batter.
