This is very soft and moist cake, full of wallnuts and flavoured with lots of dates. When you combine it with sweet dates, you will end up with a deliciously soft, mouth-watering dessert. Who wouldn't love to take a slice of this irresistible cake

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients:
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1/2 tspn baking pwdr
  4. 1/4 tspn baking soda
  5. 50 gm butter
  6. 1 cup condensed milk
  7. 1/2 cup milk
  8. 1 tspn vanilla essence
  9. 1 cup chopped wallnuts and dates Butter for greasing and 1 tspn all purpose flour for dusting


  1. Preheat the oven at 2oo°c.
  2. Seive the flour, bkng pwdr and soda in a bowl thrice. In another bowl, add condensed milk and butter and beat it well with the help of electric beater or u can also whisk it by hand blanded. Add essence in it and mix well.
  3. Add flour mixture in it slowly and little by little. Mix it gently. Don't over mix it.
  4. Add chopped wallnuts and dates and again mix it well. Add required water to adjust the consistancy. The consistancy should not be very thick nor running.
  5. Grease a cake tin by applying butter and dust it with some flour. Pour the mixture in tin. Garnish with some more wallnuts and dates on top.
  6. Tap it on plain surface. Bake it for 25-30 minutes. Check it by toothpick. If comes out clear, ur cake is ready to serve. Cut the pcs and serve with tea or coffee.
