ABOUT Creme bruelle RECIPE

This is a french dessert . Almost like caramel custard.. but caramalised sugar on top

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For custard
  2. Cream 1 cup
  3. Full cream milk 1/2 cup
  4. Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Egg yolk 4
  6. Sugar 3 tablespoon
  7. Granulated sugar preferably brown sugar 4 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Whisk together cream , milk., egg yolk and white sugar.
  2. Fill in baking cup.
  3. Arrange these cups on baking tray . Fill boiling water in it .
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 15 mins or till mixture is set.
  5. Now let it set in fridge for 1 hour
  6. After custard sets. Sprinkle brown sugar and caramalise it with blow torch
