Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Slices of brown bread whole/cut in equal pieces 4
  2. Quick cooking oats 2 tablespoon
  3. Chickpeas flour/ Besan 2 tablespoon
  4. A handful of mixed sprouts readymade/prepared at home fresh over night
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Dry spices like red chilli and cumin/jeera1 teaspoon
  7. Crushed black pepper
  8. Fresh curd 1 tablespoon
  9. Coriander leaves chopped finely 2 tablespoon
  10. Olive oil 2 tablespoon


  1. Grind the sprouts with very little water into a thick paste
  2. Dry grind the oats seperately into fine powder
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, sprouts, spices, salt, pepper and coriander. Mix well
  4. Now add the curd and prepare a thick batter after mixing some water.
  5. Cut the bread slices in manageable small pieces and coat them well with the batter prepared while you add 2 tbsp of olive oil in a non stick pan for pan frying
  6. Now pan fry each bread piece on both sides till they turn slightly crisp and golden brown.
  7. Enjoy hot with ketchup or any chutney of your choice
