Ratlami sev is famous snack of ratlam(mp).it can be easily prepared at home by deep frying the big sized sev made out of gram flour.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Gramflour 4 cup
  2. Clove powder 1/2 tablespoon
  3. Asafortida 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Turmeric powder 1/2 tablespoon
  5. Pinch of baking Soda
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Carom seeds 1 tablespoon


  1. In a bowl add besan, 2 tablespoon oil,soda and all the masalas in it.
  2. Now add some water and make a soft dough.And leave it aside for 10 minutes
  3. Then take some of the doug and roll it lengthwise and place it in the sev maker.
  4. Heat oil in the pan and place sev maker over the pan and make sev with the help of maker
  5. Fry till it become crispy and light brown.
  6. Now sev is ready to serve
