Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup Gram Flour
  2. Pinch of bak8ng doda
  3. 2 tablespoon curd
  4. coriander leaves chopped
  5. 2 teaspoon oil
  6. Salt according to taste
  7. Pinch of turmeric powder
  8. For filling-
  9. 1 tablespoon paneer mashed
  10. 1 teaspoon finely chopped dryfrits
  11. For gravy-
  12. 1 big onion
  13. 4-5 cloves of garlic
  14. 1 Piece Ginger
  15. 1 tomato
  16. 1/4 cup Curd
  17. Salt according to taste
  18. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  19. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  20. 1/2tea spoon turmeric powder
  21. 2-3 teaspoon oil
  22. coriander leaves chopped
  23. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients mentioned for GATTA and prepare a soft dough using little water .
  2. Mash paneer and mix chopped dryfruits in it.
  3. Divide GATTA dough in equal parts and same for paneer filling .
  4. Spread GATTA dough in your palm.fill some filling in it and cover it properly and made logs with all dough balls.
  5. Boil water in a pan.boil GATTA logs in it.after 2 minutes off the gas.
  6. Remove GATTA and cut it in small pieces and fry it in hot oil.and keep aside.
  7. For gravy- Grind onion,ginger,tomato,greenchilli and garlic in mixer grinder to a smooth paste.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and roast this paste in it on low flame till raw smell disappeared.
  9. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder,curd in it,saute it again.now add salt and water ,boil it till gravy reached it's required consistency.
  10. Lastly add GATTA, coriander leaves,garam masala and off the gas
