Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Big Pakoda/Bhavnagari Chillies 8 to 10
  2. Chana dal flour 1 and half 1/2 tablespoon
  3. Whole coriander 1 tablespoon
  4. Jeera 2 teaspoon
  5. Fenugreek seeds 1/4 th teaspoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1 pinch
  7. Red chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Raw mango powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil 1 to 2 tablespoon for Pan frying


  1. Dry roast whole chana dal flour, coriander, fenugreek seeds and jeera till colour changes and nice aroma starts coming
  2. Allow it to cool for sometime and then grind it into a fine powder
  3. Add salt, Turmeric powder,red chilly powder and Raw Mango powder and mix well
  4. Wash and pat dry chillies
  5. Slit length wise so that masala can be Stuffed
  6. Discard excess seeds if needed
  7. Now stuff sufficient amount of stuffing in to slit chillies
  8. Heat oil in a pan and add stuffed chillies , cover with lid
  9. Cook till soft and lightly spotted from all sides
  10. Ready to serve ...stays well for more than a week
