Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Oats
  2. 1 cup Spinach finely chopped 1 cup green peas
  3. 1/2 cup finely chopped green coriander
  4. 2 tbsp ginger garlic green chilly paste
  5. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  6. 1 tsp oregano
  7. 1 tsp poppy seeds
  8. 1 tsp garlic powder ( optional)
  9. 1/2 tsp butter
  10. 1 tsp cumin powder
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Oil for deep frying


  1. Take a pan and dry roast the Oats for about 2 min
  2. Do not over roast otherwise it will taste bitter when mixed with other ingredients
  3. In the same pan take butter and add Spinach to it. Cook the Spinach till it becomes dry
  4. Take both Oats and Spinach in a bowl add green coriander and green peas also
  5. Put all the ingredients in a mixer grinder and make a fine paste
  6. Add all the ingredients that is ginger garlic green chilly paste, oregano powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, poppy seeds , garlic powder and salt . Mix well
  7. Grease the hands with oil and make small balls as the shape of Patties
  8. Deep fry Patties
  9. Serve with sauce or chutney
