It is a maharashtrian dish everyone love this.very tasty and delicious.easy to cook and everyone love to have this dish.there are too many varieties of bara paav are available

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 6 paav
  2. For vada----
  3. 3 medium boiled potato
  4. Green chilli 1
  5. Ginger 1 piece
  6. Coriander leaves few
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Amchur powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  10. Hing pinch
  11. Haldi 1/4 tsp
  12. 1 cup besan
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  15. Water as needed
  16. Oil for frying
  17. For dry chutney---
  18. 4 DRY RED CHILLIES
  19. 10 Garlic cloves
  20. 1/4 cup peanuts
  21. 1/4 cup coconut powder or grated coconut

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan
  2. Add hing or jeera
  3. Add ginger and chilli
  4. Saute them add potato
  5. Mash them and cook them
  6. Add all spices
  7. Let it cool
  8. Till then take besan in bowl
  9. Add salt haldi in it
  10. Make a thick batter without lumps
  11. Now make balls of potato mix
  12. Dip balls in besan and fry all vada
  13. Now take oil in pan and fry red chillies
  14. Then take peanuts and little fry them
  15. Remove in plate
  16. Add garlic and roast
  17. Lastly add coconut and roast
  18. Let them cool and make a powder in mixi
  19. Assembling---
  20. Cut paav from middle
  21. Keep one side attatched
  22. Now open it and spread dry chutney over it
  23. Take vada and put on it
  24. Fold bun and our vada paav is ready
  25. Serve with sauce or chutney
