Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Green gram 2 cups
  2. Dil leaves a bunch
  3. turmeric powder a pinch
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Onion 1 small

Instructions

  1. Soak green gram in water overnight.
  2. Wash and tie the green gram in a muslin cloth
  3. By evening sprouts would come up.
  4. Wash gently
  5. Take a pan and add oil
  6. Saute onions till slightly translucent
  7. Add the dill leaves and saute till it gives a nice aroma and changes its colour.
  8. Add the sprouted green gram and little water.
  9. Cover and cook for a few minutes
  10. Add salt and turmeric powder according to taste
  11. Serve hot. Tastes nice with chapatis or even with rice and rasam.
