ABOUT Green peas and sweet potato kebabs RECIPE

This is a simple and easy kebabs with few available ingredients in the kitchen. I have used very less oil for this kebabs. I don't have skewers in my hand so we made these kebabs in toothpicks. Try this quick and easy appetizer.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup fresh green peas salt  2 tbsp oil
  2. 1 medium sweet potato
  3. 3/4 cup soya chunks
  4. 2 green chillies
  5. 1 tsp chopped ginger
  6. 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  7. 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  8. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  9. 1/4 tsp black salt
  10. 3 bread slices
  11. 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  12. 1/4 tsp chat masala powder
  13. 2 tbsp corn flour
  14. 2 tbsp Oil
  15. Salt

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the sweet potato for 1 whistle. Allow them to cool and peel and Grate it finely.
  2. In a small bowl add soya chunks, boiling water and keep it covered for 15 minutes. .
  3. After 15 minutes drain and wash it 3 to 4 times. Then squeeze the water completely and grind it coarsely along with peas.
  4. Again mashed sweet potato, bread slices, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies and ginger, cumin powder, chat masala powder, black salt, black pepper powder, corn flour andsalt. Mix well everything together.
  5. Now divide the dough into equal balls. Make each ball in cylindrical shape and slowly insert a toothpick in it.
  6. Heat a tbsp of oil in a flat pan. Now keep the prepared kebabs on it and fry them rolling on all sides until golden on all sides.
  7. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
