We all know about gatta . We relish it very much. Today i am presenting it in new avtaar.gatta are made of palak and in spiral shape also. Guys let's enjoy this new avtaar definately you will love it.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup spinach paste
  2. 1 cup besan
  3. 1 /2 tsp Salt
  4. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tsp Haldi
  6. 2 tsp oil
  7. For curry----
  8. 2 tbsp oil
  9. 1 bay leaf
  10. 1 dry red chilli
  11. 1 tsp jeera
  12. 1 tsp rai
  13. 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds
  14. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  15. Hing
  16. 2 cloves
  17. 2 cardmon
  18. 1 onion
  19. 1 tomato
  20. 1 green chilli
  21. 1 tsp ginger paste
  22. Salt
  23. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  24. 2 tsp coriander powder
  25. Haldi
  26. 1 cup curd
  27. 1 tsp garam masala
  28. 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  29. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. For gatta---
  2. Take besan in a bowl
  3. Add spinach paste
  4. Do not boil palak
  5. Only wash and make thick paste
  6. Add spices and oil
  7. We do not need water our palak paste is enough for dough
  8. Brush oil on dough
  9. Devide in equal parts and with the help of palm make long rolls of each part
  10. Now from one side start rolling it
  11. Give spiral shape
  12. Prepare all of them
  13. Let them dry for some time under fan
  14. Now heat water
  15. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil in it
  16. When boil add gatta one by one
  17. When boil strain water
  18. Keep water safe as we use it in gravy
  19. For gravy----
  20. Take onion, tomato,and chilli in mixi and make paste
  21. Now heat oil in pan
  22. Add dry spices
  23. When they splutter add onion tomato paste
  24. Cook it for 5 min.
  25. Then add haldi and coriander powder
  26. Add red chilli powder
  27. Cook them also
  28. Whisk curd
  29. When it leaves oil add curd and regular stir it
  30. Otherwise curd will curdle
  31. Now add hatya water which we keep safe
  32. And cover pan
  33. Cook for 5 min
  34. Now add gatta
  35. Cook and add garam masala and amchur
  36. Our vegetable is ready
  37. Garnish with coriander leaves
  38. Serve with parantha, puri or phulka
