Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. rice 700grams
  2. water 1200ml
  3. onion-1
  4. green chillies 6-8
  5. mint leaves 70 grams
  6. Whole biryani spices
  7. cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  8. ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  9. tomato-1
  10. salt to taste
  11. turmeric 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and soak for 1 hr
  2. Make a paste with green chilli and mint leaves keep aside
  3. In a pot heat oil and add whole biryani spices, cumin seeds, onion, fry until onion get golden colour then add chopped Tomato fry for 3 mins
  4. Then add ginger garlic paste fry for 1 min then add mint paste, salt and turmeric fry for 3 mins
  5. Then add water, once water is boiling add soaked rice and cook on high flame for 5mins then close the lid and cook on low flame for about 10 mins
