Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chopped Onion 2
  2. Oil 2 tablespoon
  3. 1/2 Tomato chopped
  4. Chana dal 1 tablespoon
  5. Urad dal 1 tablespoon
  6. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  7. Curry leaves as required
  8. Garlic 3 cloves
  9. Dry Red chili 1
  10. Tamarind pulp 1 tablespoon
  11. Salt as required
  12. Mustard seeds 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. In pan heat 1 tbsp of oil,add chana dal,urad dal and roast until golden brown
  2. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent. Add tomato,garlic,coriander leaves,curry leaves,red chilies. Cook for 7-8 min
  3. Allow to cool completely
  4. Add salt ,tamarind and required water and Grind to smooth chutney
  5. For seasoning: Heat remaining oil in pan.Splutter mustard seeds . Add curry leaves and mix for few seconds. Add seasoning to chutney and serve
