Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 500 gm chicken
  2. 1 cup chopped Onion
  3. 1 1/2 cup tomato puree
  4. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  5. 2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp chili powder
  7. 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  8. 2 tbsp chicken masala
  9. 2 tbsp oil
  10. 6-7 cashews
  11. 1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  12. 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  13. 6-7 curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Soak cashews in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain excess water. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add few curry leaves ,let it splutter.
  2. Add 1 cup onions, and saute until golden brown
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 seconds, then add tomato puree with spice powders and salt. Mix well. Cook until tomatoes are tender
  4. Grind cashews and add to curry. Mix well
  5. Add Chicken and kasuri methi . Mix well . Pressure cook for 3 whistles
  6. Once steam is released, Garnish with coriander leaves
  7. Serve warm with rice or roti
