Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tender Veldt grape 20 sticks
  2. Shallots 15
  3. Tamarind 1 lemon sized
  4. Dry Red chili 15
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Curry leaves powder 1 tablespoon
  7. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Gingely oil 1/4 cup + 2 tsp
  9. 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  10. 5-6 curry leaves


  1. Heat 1/4 cup oil in a pan and add red chilies. Fry for a minute, keep it aside
  2. Add shallots to same pan and saute for 4-5 minutes. Keep it aside
  3. Add veldt grape and stir fry till brown
  4. Grind all the roasted ingredients,salt tamarind, turmeric powder,and curry leaves powder to smooth fine paste
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves . Add seasoning to chutney and mix well
  6. Serve with hot idly or dosai or even curd rice
