Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 medium sized potatoes, cut in roundels
  2. 1/2 cup whisked curd
  3. Oil for frying - 300 ml
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder to garnish
  6. Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  8. For chutney: 1 cup chopped green coriander leaves
  9. 5-6 green chilies
  10. 1/2 cup mint leaves
  11. salt 1 teaspoon
  12. Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Water 4-5 teaspoons to grind
  14. For sweet imli chutney
  15. 1 teaspoon imli/tamarind pulp
  16. Salt 1/4 teaspoon
  17. sugar 2 teaspoons
  18. black salt 1/4 teaspoon
  19. water 3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Deep fry potatoes until golden brown and crispy. keep it aside
  2. Add salt , sugar and red chili powder in curd and whisk well
  3. Grind coriander , green chilies, water and mint leaves with salt and sugar to form smooth chutney
  4. Mix salt, sugar, water,tamarind pulp, black salt and red chili powder to make imli chutney. Keep it aside
  5. Arrange potatoes in a serving plate
  6. pour curd mix on it
  7. Add 2 tablespoons green chutney
  8. Add 1 teaspoon imli/tamarind chutney on top
  9. Sprinkle cumin powder on top and serve immediately
