ABOUT Cheesy Palak Paneer RECIPE

This a creamy cheesy palak recipe, you and pair it up with hot pulka or hot paratha, yummy for lunch, dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Palak / Spinach - 2 bunches
  2. Paneer 200 gm
  3. Oil - 4 Tablespoon
  4. Cumin- 1 Tablespoon
  5. Garlic - 20 - 30 Cloves, mined - adjust as per taste
  6. Green chilies- 3 to 4 , finely chopped
  7. Onion- 2 medium sized , finely chopped
  8. Whisked Curd 1 cup
  9. coriander powder- 1 tablespoon
  10. Turmeric- 1 tablespoon
  11. Red chili - 1 tablespoon
  12. Black salt - 1 tablespoon
  13. Fresh Coriander paste - 1 tablespoon
  14. Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
  15. 2 Cheese cubes
  16. Cream - 2 tablespoon
  17. Salt to taste
  18. Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  19. Clarified Butter/ Ghee- 1 tablespoon for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Blanch spinach and blend to smooth puree
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter cumin seeds. Add minced garlic and green chilies and saute until aromatic
  3. Add onions and saute until browned
  4. Add whisked curd and mix well over low heat. Add spice powders and mix well
  5. Add salt, black salt, stir and let it simmer. Add cubed paneer and gently mix
  6. Add palak puree, fresh coriander paste and mix well. Add 2 tbsp cream and mix. Simmer and cook until desired consistency is achieved. Add sugar and mix well
  7. Lastly add lime juice, Ghee and cheese cubes and cook for a minute. Garnish with ghee/cream and serve warm with roti
